Thermocopy is honored to be Corporate Sponsor for the 2017 Knoxville presentation of “The Wall That Heals.” This special installation is a half-scale replica of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. — commonly referred to as “The Wall.” There are currently 58,318 names on The Wall. These are the men and women who gave their all in the Vietnam War.
Since its dedication, The Wall That Heals has visited more than 400 cities and towns throughout the nation, spreading the Memorial’s legacy to millions. The Wall That Heals brings an experience of healing and reflection to those who have not had the opportunity to visit of the original memorial in our nation’s capital. The traveling exhibit may also provide veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall, a way to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin.
The Wall That Heals is brought to Knoxville by Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home and the Vietnam Veterans of America Capt. Bill Robertson Chapter 1078. Our company is proud to be part of bringing this memorial to our community. The Wall That Heals is located at Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 West Adair Drive, Knoxville). It is free of charge to the public and open 24 hours a day, from Wednesday, October 4th at 6:00pm until it closes on Sunday, October 8th at 4:00pm.
