3 March 2009 Thermocopy Recognized with Keep Tennessee Beautiful 2009 Award of Excellence Thermocopy received statewide recognition last month with a prestigious Keep Tennessee Beautiful and Tennessee Department of Transportation Award of Excellence for Business at the 2009 Biennial State Conference February 12th and 13th in Nashville. The award for Excellence in Public Education was presented to Mark DeNicola, CFO of Thermocopy, by TDOT Commissioner Gerald F. Nicely during the Awards of Excellence banquet, which was held the first night of the conference. DeNicola received a plaque and a grant check to continue Thermocopy’s enivronmental efforts in the community. Thermocopy was honored for our internal green efforts—such as implementing a companywide, comprehensive recycling program and switching to an eco-friendly janitorial service—as well as our work throughout the community, including the creation and development of GoGreenET.com—a free, online resource created to help East Tennessee businesses and other organizations become more environmentally responsible.
