This is one of the top awards that were handed out to just nine companies from across the nation. Thermocopy is in an exclusive group as there have only been six multi-year winners of the Perfect Image Awards. Thermocopy has won the following awards over the years:

• Dealer of the Year (2006)
• Best Implementation of Technology (2006)
• Outstanding Sales Program (2009)
• Outstanding Service Program (2012)

The programs that were cited as some of the reasons Thermocopy was awarded this recognition are:

Our Supportworks agreement, which provides print driver and scanner driver support, implementation support, telephone/go-to-assist and on-site technical support. When a service call is received, dispatch, through a series of questions, determines if there is a connectivity problem. If so, the client is transferred to our Supportworks desk to discuss the problem with a trained Supportworks technician. Through remote sessions and/or direct conversation the malfunction typically is corrected within 15 minutes or less 85% of the time rather than 3+ hours for an on-site call.

Thermocopy University, our formal program that utilizes instructor-led workshops and seminars open to current Thermocopy clients at no charge. What this means for our clients is more, better and on-going training on the equipment that they use in their business on a daily basis. This program provides training that a customer would traditionally not receive as part of an initial key operator session. The university is conducted at our on-site training facility or at our client’s office and utilizes the client’s mix of equipment. They have the option to attend as many times as required.

Our “Productivity Possibilities” seminars are instructor-led and open to the general business community with a focus on new technology available to the business community and serve to educate those who want to learn about technical advances that help increase productivity in their organization. The technology discussed is non-specific to Thermocopy products.

Our internal programs such as the prerequisite training on the equipment and software that we provide our service technicians and sales professionals through our in-house trainer and sales managers. We also provide the time, materials, and training for our employees to obtain the certifications we feel necessary for them to do their jobs correctly. Obtaining the certifications demonstrates their ability and the company’s ability to support clients in the most efficient, competent, and professional manner. Evidence of our success is that our service and sales employees have more professional certifications than any of our local competitors.

“Our company is committed to being customer-focused and creating Raving Fans,” Steve Sumner said, “We’re driven to exceed the expectations of our customers every time. I’m very proud of what our team has acheived and this recognition for outstanding service is a real honor in our industry.”

About the imageSource Magazine Perfect Image Awards
In Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18, 2012, imageSource Magazine announced the nine businesses that received the magazine’s 2012 Perfect Image Award for outstanding achievement in specific categories. The national awards were presented to representatives from each business selected, from the imageSource Live Theater on the Expo Floor at the ITEX National Expo & Conference, by imageSource Editor-in-Chief and ITEX Conference Director, Sand Sinclair.

“We are extremely pleased with the well-deserved recognition that these dealers and resellers receive from being a recipient of an imageSource Perfect Image Award,” said Sinclair. “The fact is there are multiple business professionals doing good business today, and those that are recognized as being outstanding in creating valuable programs, processes and services, is something to be highly acknowledged.”

The imageSource Perfect Image Award recipients are selected from an impartial judging process based on a variety of factors and entry information acquired regarding a dealer’s business model and performance. The judging process includes the imageSource/ITEX Advisory Council whose members are industry consultants, dealers, leading industry associations, and vendors, as well as Questex Media Group executives on the Council. Awards are merit-based and derived from a compilation scoring process.

Thermocopy, in business since 1964, is East Tennessee’s largest and most experienced business technology company. They provide the infrastructure, both software and hardware, that helps businesses better manage their information workflow, whether it is paper to paper, paper to digital, digital to paper, or digital to digital. They assess the “who, what, when, where, and how” of information creation and flow, and then provide better, faster, easier, greener and more economical solutions.

Thermocopy backs their technology with a level of service unparalleled in the industry. They are one of the few companies in the industry that employs an on-site, manufacturer-certified trainer and has a state-of-the-art training center for their service technicians. With up-to-date training on the products, clients experience their equipment being fixed faster with a higher percentage of first visit fixes.

Thermocopy customers also benefit from the Supportworks Integrated Call Center that includes certified, technically-skilled professionals to provide fast support response, a heightened level of service, and better information flow to technicians in the field. This translates into better up-time percentages resulting in a lower total-cost-of-ownership.

Thermocopy is recognized on a regular basis, both regionally and nationally, with many awards, but praise from Thermocopy’s “Raving Fans” customers is the best confirmation that they are consistently exceeding expectations.

We are so pleased with our new copier purchase and installation from Thermocopy! We had a very positive experience with each step of our new equipment purchase. Matthew Coleman and Paige Dean worked very hard to get us the equipment that we needed at a good price. They ensured that we got our device very quickly, which was wonderful since our old machine was hanging on by a thread! Once the equipment arrived, Tony Walker came out to install and he was FANTASTIC! He took our old set up that was a mess and streamlined the whole process for us. Tony was able to do in just a few hours, what other companies couldn’t do for us in four days! He set up the machine exactly how I requested it and I felt very confident using it after his training. Then Matt and Paige came back for additional training for our office—above and beyond!! I’ve even been impressed with the technical support line, as I called in to get a setting changed on our machine and they had me fixed in under 5 minutes! I would highly recommend the Thermocopy team to anyone looking to purchase a new piece of office equipment.

I just wanted to say how much we appreciate the service that Brian Durham provides to my branch here at ORNL Federal Credit Union. He reminds us what it means to give excellent service. He has always been friendly, courteous, and efficient—he treats us like family. What a pleasure it is to have him in my branch.

We’ve been proud to support the good work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley for many years with both material donations and volunteer time. We wanted to share a recent letter we received from this great organization that serves local youth (sent to Thermocopy’s Steve Sumner, Helen Hewitt and Todd Sheppard). We appreciate Lisa Hurst’s kind letter, and want to say thank you right back for everything the Boys & Girls Clubs do for children in our area. Visit BGCTNV online to learn more.

Dear Steve, Helen, and Todd,

Thank you so much for taking time to meet with me, the computer donations, and the use of your most precious resource—time! Thermocopy is an incredible community partner and the Boys & Girls Clubs is so fortunate to have you on our team! Without passionately committed individuals like Helen, and companies who believe in making our community a better place by reinvesting, we could not serve some of our community’s most vulnerable youth. Thermocopy is truly appreciated and valued. Todd, thank you for working with our in-house IT staff to conduct a Technology Health Assessment. Steve, thanks for loaning us your AMAZING Thermocopy team!!

Lisa Hurst
President and CEO
