The Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International and the Greater Knoxville Business Journal are honoring three local CFOs in an inaugural program that salutes their contributions to company growth, leadership and community involvement. We are so proud that Mark DeNicola, Thermocopy’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Sales and Marketing was chosen for this honor, along with John Geppi, Executive Vice President and CFO of Covenant Health, and Mitch Steenrod, Senior Vice President, CFO and CIO of Pilot Flying J. They were chosen from among more than 30 nominations of financial leaders in small businesses, large companies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. A select panel of distinguished business and community leaders were asked to serve as judges by the Knoxville chapter of FEI.

“These individuals have played a critical role in the success of their companies, and we’re pleased to be able to partner with the Business Journal and the business community in recognizing their commitment to excellence and outstanding performance,” said Frank Southall, president of the Knoxville chapter of FEI and Principal Accounting Officer of Ruby Tuesday, Inc.

The three honorees are featured in the article “More Than Numbers Guys” in the Business Journal’s November issue and will be celebrated at a dinner to be held at The Foundry on November 15th. Taylor Hawes, General Manager for Global Finance and Services at Microsoft Corp., will deliver the keynote address at the event.
